About This Episode
A reader struggles togrow blueberriesat home.
Plus, Grumpy gripes about gas leafblowers.
They used to produce a good crop and then the branches started dying back.
I’ve tried moving them to a different site, but the same thing is happening.
- Pat
Grumpy’s Answer:Okay.
Pat, this sounds like a problem with your soil.
And soil that stays too wet, it ends up producing root rot and dieback.
So when you plant your blueberries, plant them a little bit high in the holes.
And they should be fine.
I hate these machines.
But these gas blowers, they emit noise in excess of 100 decibels.
