What Is Kentucky Chili?

(Kentuckians would whole-heartedly disagree.)

Cincinnati chili is typically seasoned with warming spices like allspice and cinnamon, and it even includes unsweetened chocolate.

Kentucky chili is more traditional in ingredients, just with an added bonus of noodles mixed in.

Other regions have their own chili versions.

Oklahoma chili is similar to Texas chili but contains beans.

It’s served with Frito chips or atop spaghetti or hotdogs.

Kentucky is known for more than its bourbon.

Besides Kentucky and Ohio, other states where pairing chili with noodles is popular are Florida and Indiana.
