But what if we solely considered pay and specifically, pay for those who are just starting their careers?
For this analysis, we looked at workers under 30 who have only a bachelors degree.
Methodology
For this project, we usedU.S.
Census microdatafrom the 2013 and 2017American Community Survey.
(The latter was released in October).
We created two groups: all full-time, year-round workers and just those who are under 30 years old.
We focused on 172 college majors, from accounting to zoology.
This produced a ranking of the best college major for pay.
