Just before sunset, according to Turek.

Examples of these kinds of flowers arehoneysuckle, Tecomaria, Bee balm, and salvia.
you could often see hummingbirds drinking nectar at these flowers.
Nectar rich and colorful tubular plants attract hummingbirds.
Hummingbirds are also attracted to the color red.
“They are very attracted to the color red, because red usually means food,” Turek says.
“This is why most hummingbird feeders are red colored.
Do Hummingbirds Return To The Same Feeders Each Year?
Yes, hummingbirds can-and do-return to the same feeders year after year.
“Hummingbirds have an amazing ability to remember their food sources,” Turek says.
“They remember where all the plants and all the feeders are located from year to year.”
