Our Test Kitchen tried the oven, air fryer, stovetop, and the microwavehere’s what worked best.

The air fryer is a convection oven that heats food evenly by circulating air in the basket.

Not only is it great for reheating, it also makes super-crispy wings.
The only reason this method isn’t our favorite is because it doesn’t work for all wings.

However, if you’re in a hurry and you don’t mind less-than-crispy wings, be our guest.
Use cooking spray to coat the wings before pan-frying for about five minutes.
Add oil to the pan to help the chicken wings retain a crispy texture.
Using foil makes cleanup easy.
