2024’s last supermoon will hit its peak at approximately 6:26 a.m. Central Standard Time on Friday morning.
And it’s going to be bigger and brighter than ever before.
NASA also says that the term supermoon was coined in 1979.
And instead of the moon orbiting in a perfect circle, the Moon orbits Earth in an ellipse.
