A bowlful of comfort for the soul and belly.
(Break up the fideo if they are in nests to ensure all pieces can brown.)
Ingredients
3Tbsp.olive oil
1(7-oz.)pkg.

)can tomato sauce
1/2cupchoppedfresh cilantro, plus more for garnish
4garlic cloves, minced (1 Tbsp.)
Add fideo noodles; cook, stirring often, until noodles are toasted, about 5 minutes.
Transfer to a large bowl until ready to use.
Add hot water; increase heat to high, and bring to a boil.
Add toasted noodles, and return to a boil.
Garnish with more cilantro.
