You brew coffee at home, you dont walk into Target and you refuse to order avocado toast.
(Can you sense my millennial sarcasm there?)
Before we dive into how to get yourself a Skelly, lets hear the skeletons origin story.
The initial design was so successful that Allen expanded the collection in 2021 with the12-Foot Inferno Pumpkin Skeleton.
Thats what gives Skelly his realistic blue eyes.
But these skeletons are not just in demand theyre also quite expensive.
Skelly and his Pumpkin counterpart are priced at $299 and $379, respectively.
Its not exactly chump change.
Where Do You Get Yard Skeletons?
The easiest answer to this question is, of course, at Home Depot.
Its important to keep in mind that all three of these skeletons come ready-made.
Home Depot employees estimate installation will take about 45 minutes with three people working together.
Be prepared for a somewhat arduous task.
However, they are still expensive and wont meet the 12-foot height standards.
Wayfair sells aPose-N-Stay Skeletonat almost 5.5 feet that is made from all-weather plastic and goes for $81.99.
On sale, it goes for $249.99.99 (regular price is $499.99).
Spirit Halloween offers a$299.99 animatronic corpse bride.
Youll be spooked by its script of terrifying statements.

So Now Youve Got a 12-foot Skeleton.
How Do You Store It?
Once youve done assembly and Halloween has come and gone, its time to take your Skelly apart.
He can be cleaned with soap and water, so dont worry about a little dirt on his bones.
But hes a sensitive skeleton dont bleach him or pressure wash him.
Skelly would be aghast at that!
And one more point: Skelly doesnt like extreme coldorheat.
kindly dont put him near a fire pit.
(Yes, he can melt.)
Skelly needs to be laid down and disassembled to be stored.
Home Depot recommends having three people work on this task.
You will need to take everything apart in the opposite order of assembly, which takes about 45 minutes.
You should remove the batteries that power the LED eyes when storing Skelly.
A climate-controlled space is best.

Sometimes laziness (after all, who wants to disassemble a 12-foot skeleton?)
can turn into creativity.
