All of them will be turned into Caseys locations.
With the purchase, Casey’s now has nearly 2,900 locations across the country and 170 in Texas.
By comparison, Buc-ee’s has just 50 locations nationwide, with 35 in Texas.
Headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa, Caseys General Store, like Buc-ees, offers a lot more than gas.
In fact, it is the fifth-largest pizza chain in America.
The 35-year-old roadside mecca also sells burgers, chicken sandwiches, breakfast burritos, as well as household items.
The chains breakfast pizza and 80-cent wing deal on Mondays are particularly popular.
The transaction is anticipated to close by the end of the year.
