Ingredients
Baking spray with flour
8oz.
)unsalted butter, cubed
2tsp.fine instant espresso powder
1/4tsp.tablesalt
1 1/4cups(about 4 2/5 oz.
(check that bottom of bowl does not touch water.)

Whisk in almond flour, cocoa, cinnamon, cloves, and 2 tablespoons of the liqueur until combined.
Gradually fold chocolate mixture into egg mixture just until combined and no streaks remain.
Spread chocolate mixture evenly in prepared pan using a small offset spatula.
Let cool in pan on wire rack 30 minutes.
Loosen sides of cake using a small offset spatula or butter knife; remove pan sides.
Let cake cool completely on pan base on wire rack, 1 hour, 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Slice cake, and dollop whipped cream onto slices.
Garnish with candied orange peel, if desired.
