Honey-drizzled fried chicken is a favorite during football season.
Wiggins special twist was finishing the golden, crunchy pieces with a drizzle of honey.
The athletes went nuts for the chicken, and its now available on campus at two other dining venues.

)chicken drumsticks
Canola or vegetable oil, for frying
2/3cup(about 2 7/8 oz.
Rub generously all over drumsticks.
Heat oil:
Preheat oven to 200F.
Pour oil into a large cast-iron skillet to a depth of 1 1/2 inches.
Heat oil over medium-high to 350F.
Fry chicken:
Place flour in a large ziplock plastic bag.
Add drumsticks to bag; seal bag, and shake well to coat drumsticks.
Remove drumsticks from bag, shaking off excess flour.
Place 4 drumsticks in hot oil; return remaining drumsticks to wire rack.
Repeat frying process with remaining drumsticks.
Arrange cooked drumsticks on a platter; drizzle with honey, and serve warm.
