Question Of The Week

Some sort of blight is ruining my potted dwarf Alberta spruces.

The needles turn yellow and then brown.

What is going on?

Mandevilla

Unfortunately, they do have one pest that can ruin their appearance, and we’ll talk about that.

And the blight that you’re talking about, is actually a pest calledthe red spider mite.

And red spider mite is absolutely tiny.

And when they do that, the needles turn brown and die, and your plant looks awful.

So what to do?

So, I chose this one because it blooms all the time and it’s spectacular.

So, a mandevilla will climb.

The one thing it doesn’t do is it doesn’t climb.

It forms a mound.

So, it won’t climb anything.

And so it’s better to put it in a pot or a hanging basket.

Is it a mandevilla?"
