(And theres no need to thaw them before preparing the syrup.)

Store the prepared syrup in an airtight container or sealed jar for up to two weeks.
it’s possible for you to even opt for a jar with a spout lid for easy pouring.
Bring to a simmer over high, stirring occasionally.
Mashing cranberries with a wooden spoon, cook 3 minutes.
Remove from heat, and let cool slightly, about 10 minutes.
Transfer Cranberry Simple Syrup to a jar or resealable container.
Store, covered, in refrigerator up to 2 weeks.
