Country music singer-songwriter and actor Kris Kristofferson died Saturday at his home in Hawaii.

Born in Brownsville, Texas, on June 22, 1936, Kristofferson was a man of many talents.
Kristofferson moved to Nashville in 1965, where he was eventually discovered by none other thanJohnny Cash.
Their first album,Highwayman, hit No.
1 on the country charts.
Everything he writes is a standard and were all just going to have to live with that.
Kristofferson is survived by his wife Lisa, eight children, and seven grandchildren.
