As adorable as they are addictive, these bite-sized cheesecake confections just might become your new favorite Christmas cookies.
all-purpose flour
1teaspoonbaking powder
1/2teaspoonkosher salt
1/4cuppowdered sugar
30maraschino cherries without stems (from 1 [8-oz.]

Directions
Preheat oven to 350oF.
Add egg; beat on medium speed until very smooth, about 1 minute.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.
Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Using a 1 1/2-inch scoop, dollop batter into rounds spaced 2 inches apart on baking sheets.
Let cookies cool completely, about 30 minutes.
Dust cookies with powdered sugar; place 1 cherry inside each divot.
Store in an airtight container up to 1 day.
