Ive used tweets to drive traffic to my websites, which make money in various ways.
On a recent list of103 ways to make money at home, I included tweeting for cash.
And Kim Kardashianmade $10,000 per tweetas early as 2009, according to some reports.
And I happen to have 11,000 Twitter followers, so I wondered if I could make money tweeting.

Can You Get Paid to Tweet?
I Googled paid to tweet and foundPaidPerTweet.
Probably not as good as youd like.
It always seems like an uphill battle to build (and keep) a decent amount in savings.
But what if your car breaks down, or you have a sudden medical bill?
Instead, I went back to the website and clicked register.
Getting verified is apparently optional.
There wasnt any explanation for the sign-up process.
See who you follow, and follow new people.
Post Tweets for you.
Will not be able to:
Access your direct messages.
See your Twitter password.
I couldnt see much beyond a giant sign-up prompt.
I clicked Sign Up, and chose Creator (the other option is Advertiser).
The answer may be there, but the company clearly doesnt want to make it easy to find.
Who Actually Makes Money on Twitter?
Social media strategist Branden Hampton toldThe Next Webhe makes a living selling tweets.
It started out small, so maybe there is hope for those of us with mere thousands of followers.
LeBron Jameshas 22 million Twitter followers, andElite Daily sayshe earns $126,000 per tweet!
Ill tweet for a tenth of that.
I wont hold my breath.
Can the Average Tweeter Make Money?
Theres more than one list ofcelebrities who get paid big money to tweet.
And a good Internet marketer might know how to build followers and sell tweets.
I tried dozens of other searches with similar results.
I couldnt find any examples.
His name is Jon King, and he didnt get paid per tweet.
So keep that Twitter account open, even if you cant sell a single tweet.
And who knows, maybe it’s possible for you to sell a tweet or two.
