Avoid storing chocolate in the fridge because it can lead to unwanted moisture on the bar.
Chocolate should not be kept in the refrigerator.
It does best in a cool, dark environment such as a cupboard or pantry.
Cocoa powder also lasts long after its “best by” date, especially when unopened.
Check for discoloration, an off smell, or changes in flavor before using it.
