Can Poinsettias Be Planted Outside?

Contrary to their common indoor placement, poinsettias can be planted outdoors for a shakeup in youroutdoor holiday decor.

However, this shake up in placementdoescome with a few precautions.

For starters, they need to be planted after the threat of the last frost.

Poinsettias originate from Central America and Mexico, which means they prefer warmer climates.

If you already have a poinsettia potted indoors, place them in indirect sunlight for at least six hours.
