This isn’t just any ol' nut mix.
Woodsy, floral, and spiced, bourbon is the secret to the best candied nuts.
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add pecans, walnuts, and cashews to bowl.
Bake nut mix:
Bake in preheated oven 15 minutes.
Rotate pan and stir nuts, keeping them in a single layer.
Bake 12-15 minutes longer, until nuts are caramelized to an amber color and sugar mixture is bubbling.
Remove from oven, immediately toss again, and sprinkle with flaky salt while hot.
Let cool:
Allow nuts to sit on pan on a cooling rack until completely cooled.
Break bourbon candied nuts apart.
Store in an airtight container.
